TimeLapse the 22nd annual benefit fashion show

by Molly Sydnor

My senior year was spent not only directing the schools annual BSU fashion show, but also creating my senior thesis. My thesis just so happened to also be a line of garments for the fashion show… I just so happened to be directing.

My year was up and down, but the best part about my life so far was the dedication of my models and seeing my girls work that stage and strut my garments. I had eighteen fine ladies of MICA paired up to walk together modeling garments I made to fit each individual body type. I drafted, flat patterned, slashed and spread, and draped the garments to not only fit my vision, but also flatter each model. The textile design was all done for my thesis, screen printed, painted, woven, dyed, you name it I did it!

Here is some behind the scenes footage from my line! Footage from City paper Baltimore!
