Friday Albert and I celebrated our three year anniversary! I have been around the world with this guy and cant wait to see where this year takes us. We met in college and have gone through a competitive fitness competition (in which we disliked each other very much for sharing third place) five moves, two graduations, numerous job interviews (and nights of crying through rejection), crazy art projects, three fashion shows, and many many travels trips and exploring in between. Young Chan has been my rock through it all and I am very thankful to have such a loving and supportive partner to go through life with. Love ya babe!
A couple weeks ago I submitted work to a new local Gallery in Fort Worth called Art Room. This show "SIX" is for small work only. I gave both old work that I had prepared for previous projects, as well as some new work I have been exploring lately. If you find youself in Fort Worth December 3rd, that is the opening of the show "SIX", and it will be up until the 17th.
As promised, here are the latest sneak previews and updates of my secret project! I made some decent progress this weekend, all while binge watching Gilmore Girls in hopes to finish before "A Year In The Life airs". Social media has a long track record of spoiling everything unless you watch things on time.....The Death of Mcdreamy, who killed Lila, and so on. Anywho, I am excited to spill my guts about this project, so hold your horses because its coming soon!
Lastly, a quick travel update! Yep you guessed it.... NorCal! Young Chan and I are spending Thanksgiving vacation with his family in the Bay Area this year. The last time we traveled here was a couple Christmas's ago. Here are some photos of us exploring NorCal in 2014.
If anyone has any favorite spot for food, hiking, coffee, art, or in general exploring let me know! We are excited for the views, and much needed family time.
